On Tuesday, December 27, 2022, the Duwamish River flooded due to king tides and heavy rains, flooding many households and basements with contaminated water. Nine Khmer-speaking families have been severely affected, requiring temporary relocation, transportation assistance, new clothes and basic goods, and safer heating and electric options. Duwamish River Community Coalition (DRCC) was the first organization on scene and has been collecting donations to support affected families since Day 1. We have started our own page dedicated for Khmer-speaking families per DRCC's request to ensure donations designated for our Khmer community members are distributed as such! Thank you for your support.
